Ranwa Yehia is an Arab activist who worked as a journalist in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Egypt and then moved to work in Arab youth education development. She is co-founder of the Arab Digital Expression Foundation. In the past six years, she has worked with hundreds of Arab activists to develop a program for digital expression among Arab youth. Her focus is the empowerment of an individual within him/herself and within his/her respective network/s (online and offline) to express, share, collaborate and build for a better world. She is directly involved with digital activists who were instrumental in both the Tunisian and Egyptian revolutions and who are now working collaboratively with other Arab colleagues hoping to achieve freedom, justice and equality in their own countries.
